Yellow Base is our Pre-Formal class for Key Stage 2. Pupils in this base follow a Engagement Model curriculum, where they access a combination of personalised continuous provision, structured group work and one to one activities. This base is an extension of the provision outlined for our pupils in Red Base and pupils accessing this base have shown a continual need for extensive play-based learning. Pupils’ needs are at the heart of our planning and each activity is tailored for their individual targets and aspirations.
