Red Base is our class Pre-Formal class for Early Years and Key Stage 1 pupils. Our pupils have access to highly personalised continuous indoor and outdoor provision for the majority of the day, with one to one and small group sessions built in. Our staff team are highly skilled in using our pupils’ intrinsic motivators and quality visual supports to engage them and allow them to access a variety of learning experiences, specifically linked to the engagement model. This model focus’ on building pupils ability to attend and engage with tasks for longer periods, in addition to building their communication ability.
