Purple Base is our class Semi-Formal class for Early Years and Key Stage 1 pupils. Our pupils have access to play-based provision throughout the day, with a focus on the development of both communication and academic skills. Pupils access a variety of activities throughout the day and have access to the full national curriculum, personalised to their individual areas of attainment. Pupils in Purple Base often require small group tasks, which are provided throughout the day, with carefully planned and personalised whole group tasks to build resilience around shared attention.
