We are incredibly fortunate to have a resource provision (Rainbow Base) on site for children with complex communication needs; a visible representation of our inclusive values. Leaders and teachers work closely with one another to ensure that there is clarity in our approaches throughout the academy. This ensures we have a successful and meaningful approach to inclusion for young people accessing Rainbow Base, when the time is right.
We are immensely proud of our strong sense of community and the relationships we build with our families. At Richmond Hill, we recognise that education is most powerful when schools and families work together. Our ‘Team Around the Family’ approach is central to this commitment. We ensure that every family feels supported, valued and heard both through our universal Offer for all and our targeted Offer, providing additional support where it is needed most. This approach ensures that no child or family feels alone; we are here to support, guide and work alongside you every step of the way. We are a true community school and have generational links with many of our families and the wider community. This runs through the very core of what we do and is something we are passionately committed to.
Our curriculum is rich, engaging and ambitious, designed to inspire curiosity, foster creativity and develop a lifelong love of learning. We strive to ensure that children not
only achieve academically but also grow socially and emotionally, becoming respectful and responsible members of society who are ready for the next phase of their lives when it is time for them to move on from Richmond Hill Academy.
